In the spirit of Thanksgiving week, today we’re sharing a recent holiday-themed project that we worked on for Levin JCC. Their upcoming Cycle Against Hunger event is an effort to raise money to go towards ending food insecurity in our area.
The event takes place on Friday, November 25. Community members can sign up to participate in the event by paying $20 to sign up for a 30-minute slot to ride a stationary bike in the Levin JCC’s community hall. There is no limit to a number of slots in which someone can sign up to participate. The money collected will be donated to local hunger relief efforts.
We supported their marketing efforts for the event by giving them custom illustration and lettering to use as the event identity on flyers, t-shirts and their website to advertise and brand the fundraiser.
Since this is a fun community event that coincides with Thanksgiving, we wanted to keep the design quirky and related to the holiday. The finished product of a turkey riding a stationary bike fits that goal and quickly conveys the basic idea of the event in a way that can be used across multiple marketing platforms.
We were excited to support them in this project to help their organization and aid a great cause.
From all of us here at FatCat, we hope you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving holiday. Please note: our office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 24 and 25.
